The key word “channel” must be used for this purpose and reminds whoever is receiving the messageto wait for 3 digits after the decimal point. Note that 3 digits after the decimal point are mandatory in the 8.33 mode, whilst only 2 digits are required to specify a frequency in the 25 kHz mode.
