ABU NASR FOROBIY – SHARQNING IKKINCHI MUALLIMI

Fan va madaniyat olamida o'z o'rni va mavqeiga ega bo'lgan ulug' mutafakkir, zabardast olim, buyuk allomalardan biri, shubhasiz, Abu Nasr Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Uzlug Tarxon Forobiydir (873-950). Dunyo fani va madaniyati, uyg'onish davrining ko'zga ko'ringan vakillaridan biri bo'lgan Forobiy qadimgi yunon fani va madaniyatining insoniyat tsivilizatsiyasida tutgan o'rnini yuksak baholab, butun ilmiy faoliyati davomida nafaqat unga suyandi, cheksiz hayratlandi va ilhomlandi, balki kishilik tarixida o'chmas iz qoldirgan yunon olimlarining, ko'proq Arastuning asarlarini targ'ib qildi, ularning ko'plarini arab tiliga tarjima qildi, sharhlar yozdi.

Ahmad al-Farg’oniyning fanniy olami

Abul Abbos Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Kasir al-Farg'oniy (798-861) Farg'onada tug'ildi, shu yerda ilmiy ta'lim oldi, voyaga yetdi va, nihoyat, Bag'doddagi «Bayt al-hikma» nomli akademiyada ilmiy ishlar bilan shug'ullandi. Bu ilm makonida al-Farg'oniy boshqa atoqli olimlar, jumladan, Muhammad ibn Muso al-Xorazmiy bilan birgalikda xizmat qilgan. Al-Farg'oniyning Misrda, Nil daryosi boylarida ilmiy-nazariy va ilmiy-amaliy sohalarda ijodiy faoliyat ko'rsatganligi ham jahonga ma'lum.
